How to add the "copy to" and "Move to" option in the right click menu
A nice feature many people like to have is the option to right click on a file and just move it to were they want or just right click and copy the file to were they want. I use this option all the time. The problem is your Windows Vista System does not have this by default. Not to worry we are here to walk you through how to get it done.
We are goign to be editing the registy to make this happen. As always backup your regitry first or at least make a restore piont.
Now click the windows Start button located on the bottom left of your screen. In the Search box type REGEDIT . Now browse down to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers . Once you are there right click on the CntextMenuHandlers and select "NEW" then "key"
Now you will double-click on the (Default) value and enter {C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13} in the Value Data box
That's it. From now on when you right click on a file you will see the "Move to" and the "Copy to" options. These make for quick work when you move files all the time.
If you have never edited your registry before or feel thse instructions are too hard to follow then just let it be. It's not for everyone.
While were on the subject of your registry: If you have never cleaned out your registry before you should take a second and do so. There are free programs out their like Esung but I would personally not use them. Pay the 30 bucks and get a program that actually works good like www.registryfix.com or registryeasy.com
