If you have determined that the Virtumonde virus has infected your computer then you should use Vundofix. It is a free program and will help in the Vundo Removal process. Click HERE to download it now. Do not run it just yet. This tool does not always remove the threat. The reason is Vundo downloads other spyware programs as well. When the tool alone does not work then Spyware Doctor should be used
If you already have an anti-virus suit make sure it is up to date. If it is a free one like Avast or AVG that is why you got infected in the first place. Spyware Doctor Internet Security Suit offers all round protection and for the price it is well worth it.
Regardless I would download Spyware Doctor because they offer a free trial and it will help block the virus while we are using the Vundofix tool.
Now That you have downloaded Vundofix and Spyware Doctor go ahead and install Spyware Doctor and update the program. It will ask you if you want to imunize. Say yes. The scan might auto start. If it does just stop it as it will not do you any good becuase you did not purchase the program yet.
Re-boot your computer and start pressing the F8 key. press the F8 key every other second. We are going to select "safe mode". If you see the windows loading scroll bar then you missed it and will have to try again. When asked would you like to continue just hit yes to continue booting into windows.
Once logged in run the vundofix tool by double clicking on the icon. Keep in mind that in safe mode no drivers will be working so your desktop might look really big. The scan can take upto 20-30 minutes. Once done select the files it found and hit remove. If asked to do a registry cleaning say yes. You may be asked to re-boot. If so go ahead and re-boot and boot back into safe mode. Now run Spyware Doctor to make sure all traces were removed. The free version will allow you to scan but not to remove. Running the scan will at least let you know if you are still infected.

Everyonce in a while I have been unable to remove the virus and forced to place the hard drive in another computer. Boot up and manually remove the file from the hard drive. This does happen.
