What is EcoAntivirus 2010?
EcoAntivirus
2010 is a misleading anti-spyware application that is from the same
family as Green AV malware. It is also called EcoAntiVirus2010, Eco
AV.
It
claims to have a environment conscious program. It will donate $2
dollars from every sale to save green forests in Amazonia. It also
claims to reduce energy emission by making your computer more
efficient.
It
has a website called eco-avDOTcom . This site is full of fake and
false information. Besides it serves as a portal to propagate this
malware.
Like
most malware, EcoAntivirus 2010 is dedicated to two main purposes: to
damage your computer a lot and to try to steal your money. It will
pretend you need to make an online purchase (the registered version).
This malware stays resident in the background.
What Does EcoAntivirus 2010 do?
First,
once a Trojan virus is installed, it will download EcoAntivirus 2010
and install it onto your computer. EcoAntivirus 2010 will also modify
the System Registry so to be run on each reboot.
Once
installed, Antivirals 2010 will perform several fake scans.
EcoAntivirus 2010’ scans find tons
of worms, Trojans, adware, spyware, and more.
It
will then report a false list of infections and threats that can only

EcoAntivirus
2010 will hijack Internet Explorer and display various misleading
notifications about phishing websites and other security threats.
Likely, you will also see security warnings when browsing the web .
You
will mostly get alerts saying your computer is unprotected and that
