What is InSysSecure?
InSysSecure is a rogue
anti-spyware belonging to the well-known WiniSoft family of malwares.
It behaves in a similar fashion to other such rogue programs, trying
to induce users into buying a license for it. Currently there are
only French, German and Italian versions of this rogue piece of
software. InSysSecure gets installed on user systems via Trojans that
get downloaded with false codecs and shareware. Once installed, it
creates some harmless files in the computer, later performing false
scans and flagging these files as harmful malware. It also claims
that the currently installed ‘trial’ version of InSysSecurity is
incapable of cleaning out these ‘threats’ to the system and asks
the user to purchase a license to the ‘full’ version of the
software. It must be remembered at all times that InSysSecurity is
not a real anti-spyware and it cannot clean your system even if you
pay for its ‘full’ version. So the best course of action to take
when you find a copy of this rogue software on your computer is to
remove it immediately.
The steps needed for
InSysSecure removal are outlined below. They are: stopping processes
related to InSysSecure, unregistering its DLLs, deleting files and
folders and removing registry entries. Users
should consider
scanning
the entire
computer with a genuine antivirus product such as Spyware Doctor with Antivirus » download to
make sure that there are no auxiliary
infections present. How to Remove InSysSecure ?
